The Baltimore Ravens honor Love in the Trenches’, Kelly Ryan, as a 2022 Community Quarterback award recipient. This award recognizes individuals who exhibit leadership, dedication and commitment to bettering their local communities.
Kelly joined the LITT team as an intern/volunteer in January 2022 and immediately became instrumental in the launch of the Undo the OD campaign. This campaign was developed to equip local bars, restaurants, college campuses, and other gathering spaces with Naloxone (Narcan) nasal spray. LITT provides barrier free access to Naloxone and training for all. Undo The OD empowers management and staff to actively save a life even before EMS arrive.
As a result of Kelly’s influence, Towson University has asked LITT to provide Narcan training and kits for Campus Housing, Student Government and Presidents of Greek life.
Through the campaign, LITT has distributed over 640 Narcan kits, equipped over 60 bars with Narcan, and distributed 1,416 doses of Narcan.
